RESOURCEFUL LIKE A LIONESS
The Women of Excellence is the name of the women’s ministry of Family Worship Centre. We are a community of women united in loving God.
Our programs and events help women grow their relationship with God, fulfill their role as single women, wife’s, mothers as well as find the balance between home and career.
We have one major convention every year which is 4 days of Word loaded meetings and ministrations. We have one beautiful Women’s Getaway program once a year where the women stay in a holiday resort to rest, pray find friendship, mentorship and encouragement.
Vision Statement
Women of Excellence exists to demonstrate the love of
God to the women of Family Worship Centre, by
Nurturing them to be outstanding, effective,
Compassionate and loving members of the family,
Church and the society.
Our Aim
Our activities and programs are aimed at building well rounded Christian women by focussing on the following:
ii. Intellectual or Mental: we encourage
members to pursue academic or intellectual
development.
Activities: Extra-mural activities, Career fairs,
skill building, workshops, etc.
iii. Physical: We teach our women how to develop and
maintain healthy and wholesome life-styles.
Activities: Fitness programmes, beauty
therapy, preventive health care, dieting,
fashion and hygiene.
iv. Social: To expose women to various
social skills and techniques.
Activities: Workshop on home management,
relationship building, conflict management,
social skill and inter-personal skills and
entertainment.
v. Outreach: To provide opportunities for
women to reach out to others.
Activities: This would include visiting
orphanages, hospitals, prisons, women with
needs in the church and vulnerable groups.
Family Worship Centre exists to love and worship God. To demonstrate God’s transforming love to the saved and unsaved man in order to make him an agent of that love.
