FWC MISSIONS DEPARTMENT

SPREADING GOD’S LOVE TO THE WORLD

MISSIONS DEPARTMENT

In furtherance of the vision to “demonstrate His transforming love to man…”. Family Worship Center established the Missions Department which was initially saddled with the responsibility of reaching out to Missionary Groups, Pastors and Late Pastors Widows in the Northern part of Nigeria.

Widows of Pastors in Northern Nigeria are of prime interest to the Missions department because they are among the poorest and most vulnerable in society. With the demise of their husbands these widows are left with little or nothing to fend for themselves and their children. To help alleviate these daunting challenges Family Worship Centre supports more than 1000 widows with a monthly stipend for their upkeep. In addition they receive financial support for the education of their children.

Over time our Mission activities have extended to cover prisons in The FCT, Nasarawa, Plateau and Niger States. These activities include weekly discipleship training and monthly supply of food items to augment whatever is provided by the prisons authorities. We also give support to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in camps

Support goes to many missionaries and mission agencies across Northern Nigeria.
Annual conferences bring widows and missionaries to our church for 3 days of refreshing in Gods presence.
